چکیده

Abstract: Background/Aim: Inflammation typically occurs when infectious microorganisms enter the body, settle in specific tissues, and/or circulate blood. Asparagus racemosus extract contains various saponins and flavonoids plant-origin drugs have fewer side effects toxicity. The phytoconstituents less permeability through skin; to enhance their effectiveness it was loaded niosomes. Therefore, study aimed formulate characterize niosomal gel with for anti-inflammatory activity. Materials Methods: niosomes containing were prepared using thin film hydration method 23 full factorial design employed assess influence of independent variables span 60 cholesterol on vesicle size, PDI, zeta potential, percentage entrapment efficiency. 10% conventional gels by incorporating optimized total saponin 1% carbopol gel. Ex vivo studies performed goat skin Franz diffusion cell. An conducted albino rat. Results: statistical analysis revealed significant effect efficiency potential. Formulation and Characterization of Drug Loaded Niosomal Gel for Anti-Inflammatory Activity

The main aim of the present research was to encapsulate mefenamic acid in niosomes andincorporate the prepared niosomes in the carbopol gel base for sustained therapeutic action. Mefenamic acid loaded niosomes were prepared by thin film hydration technique and evaluated for entrapment efficiency, vesicular size and zeta potential. The entrapment efficiency of the prepared niosomes was found to ...
